Gavo = 21 months old.

So hard to believe that my little nugget is going to be 2 before I know it (and I sorta am hoping that the next few months fly by because with his birthday comes Spring and with Spring comes being outdoors more and being outdoors mean kiddos burning off energy and energy burn-off means better sleepers and better sleepers equals a happier mommy. But I digress).

Here are some iPhone pics to showcase my Gavie over the last month...

My little 21 month monster. Such a little stinkpot, but oh so cute.
Loving on momma....
He sure does like his mommy. A lot. Some, ok most, days I would LOVE to hear him say something besides "MAAAA" 500,000 times. I look forward to the day that I can walk out of the room and not have him yell for me or chase after me as if I am leaving forever. But, what can I say, he adores me! I'm hoping this lasts throughout life (especially during the teen years).
When I get discouraged from his "high maintenance love" I try to remind myself of the quote...
"To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world." And that makes me feel better... usually until the next "MAAAA"

But truthfully, he melts my heart over and over again. And he knows it.
Getting his 3rd haircut.
He gets into a state of relaxation when he gets his hair cut. It's so cute. Plus he loves dum-dums.
Little Brother. He's a pretty good one, too. Sure, he annoys Kylie and takes her things just to get a reaction, but mostly he just wants her attention and acceptance. They're such good friends and I love the little bond that they have.
His sleeping (or lack thereof) for the last 2 months has been enough to drive me bonkers! Going down to one nap has not been an easy transition for this little dude. He went from sleeping beautifully (a good 11-12 hours a night and 2 naps equalling about 3 hours) to sleeping lousy (up in the 6 o'clock hour and one very inconsistent afternoon nap... usually 1-1.5 hours with a 2-3er dropped in every few weeks just to tease mommy a little).
Because he isn't as rested as he should be, this has been known to happen... (something my kids never ever do!)
Having a big sister means he is one very well-rounded little man. The toys don't stop at balls and trucks and dinos. No sir. He loves dolls and barbies and can do a mean twirl in a tutu. Daddy may roll his eyes and shake his head but mommy thinks that he is going to be a very tough, yet sweet man (the best kind).

A little Bucks fan...

And a few of the dynamic duo...
