HHI '11.

This year's family vaca was once again such a fabulous week. Hilton Head is our happy place and it proved to be again this year.

After we arrived and peeled ourselves out of the car, we threw our bags in the house and quickly changed into suits to enjoy the pool with its "super duper" (as Ky would say) warm water.

Somebody was happy to be on vacation (or just to be out of the car for that matter)!

After some swimming and dinner we celebrated Syd's 12th birthday!!!!

The next morning we enjoyed lots of beach time. Kylie proved that she hasn't lost her scales yet... the little fish was at it again this year. She LOVES the beach and could run and splash in the surf all day long!

7 years.

Matt and I celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary while in Hilton Head last week. It was great to be in our favorite place with our favorite people on our special day!

It's a little hard to believe that it's only been 7 years (not in a bad way!)... it just seems like I've known him forever.

These pics pretty much capture us and our relationship. We have lots of fun together.

And we like each other. A lot. :)

Gav the Cyclist.

Gavin received a bike for his 2nd birthday and quickly learned how to ride. He also quickly grew out of that bike and needed to get a new one that hopefully should last a couple years. Daddy was pretty proud to take his little man to the bike shop to pick out a new one.

With his shiny new bike, he was able to join the neighborhood bike club!

Gav has cycling in his blood just like big sister. They could ride all day, every day (just like someone else I know...)

And not to leave big sister out... here is a video taken in June on the day that Ky taught herself to ride without training wheels! We were so proud of her determination! She kept telling us that she was "so proud" of herself! So cute!

A little patriotism.

Ok, so Independence Day was over a month ago, but let's pretend that's not the case and celebrate the red, white & blue again!

We went to Stow's 4th of July parade this year and the kiddies were able to experience their first parade experience! I think it's safe to say, they're fans!
