Waking up in Maui.

After arriving to our resort at 10pm, we quickly changed and jumped into bed, knowing full well that it would not be long before the kids woke us up. Sure enough, at 12:45am (6:45 EST) Gavin woke up! Rather than sitting in a dark room while Ky slept, Gav and I went for a walk around the resort with a very friendly security guard! Gav thought this midnight flashlight tour was super cool!
After Kylie woke up, around 4 or 5am, we all went out to check out Maui in the daylight.

This was the first photo I took... and the first hula dance I saw. :)
(Notice Gav taking advantage of the moment to quickly slip away and take a run for it down the hall).
One of the very few photos I got with the two kiddies together. Gav has no time for photos. He's ready to take off in this one...
Kylie and Bananas the Monkey!

Checking out the Pacific Ocean!
He's mighty chipper for only have a couple hours of sleep!
Checking out a fountain in the resort.

We were all looking and feeling a bit rough after 12 hours of travel and not much sleep! But thank you to the nice person for capturing this moment for us! :)

The kids had to test the water before anyone else.

Leaving on a Jet Plane.

At the Cleveland Airport prior to our flights to Maui:
The kids, expecially Gavin, LOVED looking out the windows at all of the airplanes!
On the plane, Ky quickly made herself comfortable with her friends. She's pretty much a perfect little traveler. Bless her.
Off we go... can you see my nerves?!?!
Gavo watching a little TV during the flight.

Thankfully, my prayers were answered and Gav did so much better than I anticipated on all 4 flights. He even slept! (gasp!)

Bananas the Monkey.

"Bananas" is the traveling stuffed monkey in Kylie's preschool class. Kylie just so happened to have Bananas for our trip to Maui, so we, of course, had to take lots of pics with him! :)

These are the two pages that we made to include in the class' book about Bananas.

Trick or Treat.

Let's pretend almost 3 weeks hasn't passed and talk about Halloween a bit more.

As usual the kiddies had a blast trick-or-treating this year... and received way more candy than daddy, i mean they, knew what to do with!

My rainbow girl was shining brightly!
My rainbow girl and tiger cub!

Little Gavo quickly figured out the rules to this fun game!
He was a pro in no time!

All of the neighbor kids looking awesome!

Her version of supermarket sweep!

Back at the homestead ready to pass out candy...
This has always been Kylie's favorite part of the night...
Gav liked it a lot, too... I think that's because he just kept reaching in the bowl for more candy!
And, just for fun, a couple pumpkin-carving photos:
Ok, now feel free to resume with your November...

Halloween- Preschool Party.

Mommy and Gavin got to join Kylie for her Halloween party at school. It was so cute seeing Ky and all of her classmates dressed up. Halloween is so fun!

Gav was super pumped to go terrorize play at preschool again and wouldn't stand still for a photo.
My little rainbow girl looking very colorful!
Rainbow Girl and most of her classmates!
Ready to go get candy from the church offices!
Back in the classroom, Gav made himself right at home at the train table.

In the activity room the kids got to play musical chairs...
And the last 2 remaining. Neither Rainbow Girl nor Little Bo Peep look very pumped about their victorious round of musical chairs... I think it may have something to do with the fact that the ousted players got a prize!

To Gavin, preschool is pretty much the best thing since sliced bread. I mean, c'mon, where else can you play with a never-ending supply of toys, lots of other kids, and refresh yourself with an oreo and a juice box. Life is good.

My girl enjoying her snack with her fellow classmates. :)
