A few more flashbackers.

While I was digging through my February '08 folder looking for a photo to post for today's flashback, I found myself looking at every photo (744 in all!... don't judge me.) and reminiscing and re-living my time with my little 17 month old. This age was one of my all time faves! I know I seem to say that at every age, but really the 15-20 month age is just amazing!! I loved watching Kylie learn to discover and make sense of her world. This is also when she really started vocalizing what she wanted. And also when her sense of humor started to blossom. SO much fun!
Not to mention the adorable, chubby, toddling cuteness that she was!

The above photo was actually taken in Jan. '08 but I had to share it anyway. She always had that snack trap in hand... and those boots, I miss them.

Her bond with her doggie really began at about this age.

The bright-eyed, serious face was her signature look.

One of my all-time faves.
1st time playing in the snow. What a cute little pink marshmallow.

Happy Weekend!

Flashback Friday.

2 years ago- Feb. 26, 2008
Gazing at the massive amount of snow and longing for Spring. Much like today, only now she's a few inches taller with more hair! And today she is wearing 2 piece pjs rather than one piece footies... I miss those. *sigh*
Same day, 2 years ago...

I remember this day so clearly... this was the 1st real smile I got for the camera. The day she learned to smile on cue! What a great day for the mamarazzi!!

Little Valentines

I am really late posting these... but better late than never!!
Had to share some photos of my 2 favorite Valentines.

Such a happy little guy.
He doesn't believe in holding in his emotions. This is his super excited reaction. I think he was watching Kylie dance... extremely entertained!
And then a serious face for good measure.

Not sure what this cool guy face is...
It didn't last long, back to Goof McGooferson...

Such a little ham. Gosh, I love this age.

Snip Snip

Kylie had her 1st "real" haircut a couple weeks ago. She's had a few little trims in the bathroom from mommy, but that is all, so we had to document the fun experience we had at Snip Its!!

Pre-cut:
Daddy & Gav spectating:
Watching a movie... quite the treatment.

The finished product!

S-N-O-W.

We, like many others that are so blessed to live in this glorious state, got dumped on last weekend. On Sunday, after being snowed in for way too long (like 1/2 a day), Mr. Good Ole Front-End Loader came and cleared our road.
Gavin LOVED watching this thing in action! Such a boy!

PJs.

We've had a couple pj days recently. Getting dressed to go no where just doesn't make sense sometimes. All it means is more laundry for mommy!

Here are a few pics of Ky just hanging out in her pajamas.

Dreaming of Spring...

It's not all bad.

In his defense, he has moments of being cute and sweet, too.

It helps to have a big sissy to give you hugs and kisses throughout the day.

The ugly cry.

Poor Gavie. Getting teeth is hard work for this little dude. The last few days have been rough for this guy (and this mama!). He has had a low grade fever and has just been a big ball of grumpiness.
I had the camera out the other day, so I was able to capture some of the "fun" we've been having! Before you run off and call Children's Services for neglect, let me assure you that all of these photos were taken in about 5 seconds. And, as much as it looks like he is balling his eyes out, this is actually his dramatic, semi-fake, complaining yell. He makes this face and yells, then stops and looks at me and then repeats.
It's not your best look, buddy! I think Oprah would call this your "ugly cry"!!
