She's 2.75 years old, and although it breaks my heart to see my baby grow up, I love watching her become a little girl and discover and learn about the world around her. She is at such a fun age. Sure, she has her toddler moments and can be very strong-minded, but the majority of the time she is so fun and sweet and loving and just a delight to be around.

Someone's been eating well! And growing like crazy!

He loves bathtime... even when big sis squeezes a soaking wet wash cloth directly over his face, which inevitably happens once every bath session (she just insists on "helping!"). He has amazing patience with her and her ways! :)

Mama's boy!

Gavin had his 6 week check-up this past Wednesday.  We discovered that he has gained 4 pounds since his last appt. only 4 weeks ago! He now weighs 12 lbs. 7 oz. (75%ile) and is 

22 1/2" long (50%ile)!  He is a little ahead of Kylie at this age. She weighed 12 lbs. 4 oz. at 8 weeks (but she weighed 1 1/2 lbs. less at birth).

He is such a good eater and has wasted no time packing on the pounds and adding those rolls and chunks that mama loves! This week his "forearm roll" emerged!! This is my favorite "feature" on babies. Kylie just recently lost hers (which made me so sad), but she rocked some pretty amazing forearm rolls for her first 2 years! I am so excited to see Gavin sporting his now. Haha... the little things! :)

Lolipops & Tutus.

Stacey brought her 2 girls, Andie & Abbie, up last week for a photo session. Andie just turned 3 and Abbie will be 1 in a few weeks. They are the cutest! Kylie loved having company to play with... and boss around (for those that don't know, she is in the "that's mine!" phase). We are working on that sharing thing!

So, I took the girls down to the path and set this chair down for Andie to sit on... Kylie, proving that she has down this a time or two, ran over and sat on the chair, looked straight at the camera and smiled with her lolipop. Oh boy.

I wish I knew what they were talking about... probably dandelions or tutus... or the crazy lady with the camera...

1 month old (a couple weeks late!)

So now that Gavin is 6 weeks old, I'm finally getting around to posting his 1 month photo. I did a monthly onesie photo with Kylie and "plan" to do the same for the G-man. 

It's interesting to look at their photos and compare them... I see similarities between them at times, but I think they look way different in these two shots!

Awesome.

Kylie is the best big sister! She loves her baby brother so much and lights up whenever she is around him. "He awake now??" is a question asked in this house about a million times a day! She knows that when he is awake she is allowed to hold him, so it is a much anticipated time! She is such a big helper... always running to his rescue when he cries (which, unfortunately, is a lot!). She always has an answer for his cry... "mommy, he cold" or "he hungee" or "his belly hurt" or "he poopy" or "he not happy"!

She thinks he's pretty awesome. And he is.
